Paloma
Cécile Boudon(Born in 2009 (presumed))
Paloma came to us after her aging owner decided to part with some of her animals, no longer being able to care for them properly.
Located just 2 km from our home, I drove her along the paths to her new home… A short journey that marked the beginning of a new life for this endearing donkey.
In her former life, Paloma only knew her owner and her granddaughters. As a result, she is incredibly comfortable with children, gentle and patient, but remains somewhat wary of adults she doesn't know. A sensitive and attentive donkey, she carefully chooses who she trusts.
Since her arrival, Paloma has slowly found her place in the herd. Rather reserved at first, she observes and learns from the other donkeys before approaching them. Over time, she has shown her curiosity and intelligence, always ready to answer a call or participate in the little adventures of the meadow.
Her gentleness and patience make her an ideal companion for younger children, who love spending time with her. Despite her natural distrust of strangers, Paloma knows how to be affectionate and trusting with those who take the time to get to know her.
In short, this discreet but precious donkey has become a full-fledged member of the herd, bringing calm and serenity around her, while remaining faithful to her sensitive and cautious nature.
